Yamakai have clubs based in South Lanarkshire and at present practice mainly Shotokan.

We are open to all styles of Karate and welcome not only new members but also new clubs looking for an Association which is open minded.

• Yamakai have been affiliated to the Scottish Karate Governing Body Ltd since 1997.
  
  
• All our Instructors hold Governing Body Instructors Licences which incorporates Sports Coach UK coaching certificates, first aid & professional Indemnity Insurance.
  
  
• In accordance with Governing Body procedure we also have in place an independent Child Protection Officer.
